Gym Leaders, Elite Four, rivals, and even team admins have been greatly upgraded. But don’t fret the extra experience gained from battling evolved Pokémon will help you keep pace. The level range has also been expanded, now ranging from 5 to a whopping 79/81. If you’re up for battling every trainer, you’ll encounter the majority of the 721 species.
